Under the direct supervision of the Director of IT, the Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the leadership and supervision of systems and network engineering designs, evaluations, administration and support of current and potential enterprise server/storage/network hardware and software.

* Manage the administration and support of all systems, storage, voice, and network infrastructures and services.
* Manage the implementation of short and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements.
* Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
* Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for IT projects and associated efforts.
* Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
* Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
* Make recommendations regarding the selection, design, implementation, integration and support all information systems;
* Review IT staff skill and develop plans for training and professional development;
* Assist with the selection and assignment of technology staff;
* Perform all supervisory responsibilities, including evaluating staff performance;
* Act as an escalation point for the network and system engineers on hardware and software issues.
* Manage the design, implementation and administration of corporate and clinical servers including application, web, and database
* Manage the design, implementation and administration of virtualization applications and servers running Citrix and/or VMware
* Manage the implementation and administration of corporate VOIP phone system
* Perform engineering design evaluations of current and potential server and storage systems
* Develop, implement, and monitor information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance
* Formulate business systems architecture plans, estimates costs, and ensures projects meet strategic needs
* Manage the communication with other departments in reporting and resolving software, hardware and operational issues
* Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology preferred. Microsoft, Cisco or similar certification preferred.

Minimum of five years of experience managing or working in a systems/storage/network administrator role.
