Lead Physician Assistant

Practices medicine with physician supervision including conducting examinations and writing prescriptions. Within physician-physician assistant relationship, PA-Cs exercise autonomy in medical decision making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Assists physician in surgery. May include responsibility for education, research, and administrative services.

Bachelor’s degree
Successful completion of accredited physician assistant program
Certification by the NCCPA
Licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physician’s Assistant in the State of Minnesota

One year of experience as PA, preferably in clinic setting, preferred.
Prior orthopedic experience preferred.
