Under the supervision of a physician, the Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant conducts a wide variety of evaluation and examination duties for the employees of client companies, including injury and illness assessment and pre-placement and fitness-for-duty examinations. The Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant also participates in the development and maintenance of educational and preventive programs related to occupational health.

Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of an accredited physician assistant program.
Certification by the NCCPA.
Licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physician’s Assistant in the State of Minnesota.

Minimum of two years of experience practicing family medicine, emergency medicine or occupational medicine.
