The Patient Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to the Physician and Physician team. The Patient Coordinator will maintain the physicians schedule, assist in daily clinic flow, enter patient orders into patient electronic medical record, pre-certify and/or obtain referrals for surgeries, scans, injections and any other treatment ordered. Respond to patient phone calls and triage patient phone calls as appropriate.
This is a float role and will primarily support our Spine Service Line. Will be required to travel to other Summit sites and Outreach locations. Candidates must have availability to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. with flexibility.

Education
High School or better in
Experience
year: Experience with Med reconciliation is strongly preferred.
year: Associate degree or training in a clinical specialty such as medical assistant or athletic trainer preferred.
year: Minimally qualified candidates will have at least 2 years medical office experience in a busy clinic setting.
