The Surgery Center Secretary assumes responsibility for: the registration of patients, the collection of insurance data, the establishment of communications within and without the department, and assists the manager by coordinating the affairs of the department. The Secretary initiates formal introduction to the Center of patients, physicians, vendors, and visitors by presenting a cordial demeanor, answering external queries with professional courtesy, and compiling accurate documentation in the form of the medical record.

This is a casual opportunity.  Must be willing to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month.

High School or better in

Experience

Preferred

1 year: One year experience in a clinical or medically related office setting preferred. Will consider multi-task office coordinator experience.
