Under the supervision of the site Manager, the secretary/receptionist assumes responsibility for: the registration of patients, the collection of insurance data, the establishment of communications within and without the department, and assists the manager by coordinating the affairs of the department. The Secretary/Receptionist initiates formal introduction to the Center of patients, physicians, vendors, and visitors by presenting a cordial demeanor, answering external queries with professional courtesy, and compiling accurate documentation in the form of the medical record.

Requirements
One year experience in a clinical or medically related office setting preferred. Will consider multi-task office coordinator experience.
GED or high school diploma
Formal Business administration assistant course work desirable
Good to excellent communication skills
Visual acuity to read the written and digitally produced word
Auditory acuity to hear and relate telephone communications
Basic CPR certification
